"I have bought Deal shorts before and they are comfortable, smart, and last fairly well bearing in mind I wear shorts all the time. However out of the 4 pairs I ordered 3 were very poorly made, stitching missing around waistband, small holes around the pockets, seams not finished, it looked as if a consignment of rejects had been sent by accident from the factory. They looked like £10 shorts from a market. To be fair Tom's Place they refunded my money and postage, although they did accuse me of washing the shorts, which I assured them I hadn't. Disappointing though they never acknowledged their error in the accusation. I'm not now certain if I would buy Deal shorts again, if this is the 'new standard' or just a 'one off' . Three stars for Tom's because of their prompt action, nil stars for the product. I would suggest that you do examine the product before wearing it."
